My wife and I have just finished four beautiful days in Bar Harbor, Maine. We stayed at The Inn at Bay Ledge (a B&B). Wow was it ever fabulous. Beautiful place perched on a cliff overlooking Frenchman's Bay and the hosts were fantastic. Can't say enough good things about the place. Would return in a heartbeat. Acadia National Park is a real gem with a terrific rugged coastline, great hiking trails, carriage trails through the park, and a cute (but really touristy) town.

The bike trip starts tomorrow morning at 7am. The plan is to ride 63 miles to Belfast,Maine where I contacted a nice gentleman who is letting me camp in his backyard. The bike weighs 103 pounds!!! UGH. It's going to be a long day! Stay tuned.
